Employers' Liability

This section provides Employers Liability cover in respect of your teachers and lifeguards (self employed or under a contract of employment) along with helpers, volunteers, volunteer teachers and lifeguards and clerical employees. The cover provided is for a limit of liability of £10,000,000.

Please refer if your total taching hours exceed 70 hours per week.

This section is automatically included. Even where you have no formal employees this section will protect you in the event volunteers or helpers are injured and are deemed to be ‘employees’ of your school or club. This is a complex area that is determined by a number of factors. Our package of covers includes this as standard to remove any uncertainty and to avoid leaving you unprotected.
